Hi, I am Andes.
I am from Hong Kong and currently reside in Toronto.
I am married (almost always happily) and know full well what weddings are like and more importantly, what a realistic marriage is beyond the ceremony.
I am a father to a little lady who is almost 8. My days are mostly made up of negotiation and explanation. My patience is lost and found everyday, but my love for her overcomes all of that.
I treasure authentic moments, meaningful conversations, and beautiful things beyond the look and feel.
I love telling stories.
I picked up my first DSLR in 2008. The journey started from zero knowledge to an explosive interest and growth. I spent every waking moment learning from books and videos, asking questions and having conversations. As a self-taught photographer, my journey has not been an easy one, but it has been beyond rewarding to unlock technical skills, develop an artistic sense and learn the psychology behind the art.
Every year I capture around 15 weddings. While I specialize in weddings, I also love to shoot family portraits and fashion.
Building lifelong friendships with my clients is by far my biggest enjoyment throughout my photography career.
My goal is to tell wedding stories beyond what is seen by the eye, but to capture the true emotions within. I always look for the finest moments that reflect the connection between you and your love, and those amongst your families and guests. All these priceless moments only happen once and I want to document them for you, for a lifetime.
